In case you haven’t noticed, plants have taken over the interiors world. Integrating plants into your interior scheme adds colour and texture, and can work beautifully in a minimal home, as well as an eclectic, colourful home. Don’t be too fussy with where your plants sit or hang, and change the location up as the plant grows.
Homeware Stores are awash with planter option, in all shapes and forms. As you grow your plants, also grow your planter collection – look for interesting materials, colour and textures. Scour vintage stores for vessels – think outside the square and use kitchen containers or even retro coffee cans to add interest to your collection. Classic terracotta is cheap and cheerful from local hardware stores, and can fill out your collection with a natural finish. This works well mixed with modern whites and metallic and also look for bohemian and mid century forms – mixing up vintage and new.
Here are a few of our latest favourites – working with monochromatic colourways and natural materials can help enhance and compliment foliage texture and colour.
