A Mood Board is a classic way of visualising your completed room, or a the very least, a tool to help you bring together all the wayward ideas, and consolidate them into something tangible.
Whether created from cuttings and samples, or bought together from online images – mood boards can help you begin to understand a space, and the elements in context.
Above is the mood board we created for Miss M’s room – we began by creating a Pinterest Board, then searching for products, then visualising all the elements together on a fresh canvas. Paint, furniture, lighting, décor elements – we created this mood board in photoshop, but there are many online mood board creators that are simple to use. We especially like Olioboard – where you can import your own images and products.
Next week we will reveal the finished room, with all the links to the products that we used in the final design. Watch this space. Lots of Little Roomie goodness coming up on the blog!
