It’s no secret that we are huge fans of a well curated online store, and lately we have been witnessing a few of our favourites foray into bricks and mortar, which is positive news for retail and consumers alike. And it’s not just limited to our biggest citys either. Below we outline each store and showcase a few of our favourite items.
GOOD REGARDS: 12 Prince Ave, Mount Maunganui
First up is the super cool Good Regards, hailing from Mt Maunganui, and opening just in time for the summer madness. The store is overflowing with fun and quirky homewares featuring New Zealand artists, ceramics and off the cuff giftware.
FATHER RABBIT: BLOC | 20 Normanby Road Mt Eden Auckland.
Of course, the move to BLOC in Mt Eden is not the first shop front for Father Rabbit, but we reckon he has made himself right at home, creating a serene shopping experience, and even making room for his tropical guest.
TEA PEA: 22 Ganges Road, Khandallah, Wellington
Lucky Wellingtonians! We are dying to jump on a plane to the capital to check out what promises to be a delightful, and very pretty store, Tea Pea. Owner Meg has an eye for the whimsical, stocking adorable homewares for kids, and big kids!
MINT SIX: 290 Highgate, Roslyn, Dunedin
Might be time for a Roomie Roadtrip!
